Deep dive trainings on cloud computing and Windows Azure for developers

Location: Microsoft Romania Global Technical Support Center, Training Room #2 (map)

Dates: October 19-21, 2011 and October 26-28, 2011

Abstract

ANIS and Microsoft Romania will organize 2 deep dive cloud sessions for software developers, in October 2011.
Announced in October 2008 and commercially launched in February 2010, Windows Azure has become one of the major cloud computing players in the market. Spanning a vast offering of services starting with computing, storage, relational database, CDN, service bus and ending up with a dedicated market place, Windows Azure is definitely the platform developers should consider in order to secure their skillset value for the next years.
In this 3 day training we will focus on the important aspects that a developer should know about designing, implementing, deploying, distributing and maintaining Windows Azure enterprise solutions. Theory will have its place during the training, but a high degree of attention will be given to the practical side of things, such that at the end of the training you will be able to start putting the knowledge to work in real projects.
Attendees are not expected to have prior knowledge/experience with Windows Azure, therefore the training is designed to start with the basics and end up with a fairly in-depth knowledge about the capabilities of Windows Azure.
